Glenelg East Guitar & Bass Tuition is the private teaching practice of musician and instrumental tutor Simon Henderson. Simon has the acquired knowledge of over 20 years live performance experience as well as 10 years of teaching experience and 4 years of formal study. After several years of teaching in music shops and schools around Adelaide Simon decided to start his own private lesson business in early 2017.
The inspiration behind Glenelg East Guitar & Bass Tuition is a focus on Guidance and Motivation and not just passing on information or demonstrating technique.
Some students may enjoy a structured, planned curriculum while others may want to learn a new song every lesson. Some may be very specific with what they want to work on while others are not sure. Some may need help with time management while others just need a "pep talk" to keep trying. Your lesson is unique to you.

Mark-
Mark has been attending lessons for over three years. A curriculum based lesson did not appeal to Mark so we went straight into learning chords and strumming patterns and then moved onto working on songs. While he found this challenging at first he is now making outstanding progress and enjoys demonstrating a musical ability he never new existed.
